How can we make our cities more sustainable, while keeping them affordable and accessible to all? It’s this question that fascinates Sarah. As a researcher and consultant at DRIFT, she focuses on urban transitions and aims to contribute to sustainable and just cities for everyone.
Her topics are mobility, health & wellbeing, and neighborhood development. Recurring themes are participatory processes, reflexive monitoring, socio-spatial justice, and governance. She is currently working on the EU-funded projects UrbanA and SONNET, and several consultancy projects.
Before joining DRIFT in 2015, Sarah completed a master’s in Urbanism from the TU Delft faculty of Architecture and Built Environment, specialising in Design as Politics. She also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, specialising in Governance and Management of Complex Systems.
Outside of work, you can often find Sarah at the tennis court or on her yoga mat.
