Lisa Barsties has a multidisciplinary educational background, spanning Cultural Anthropology (BSc, Utrecht University) and Migration Studies (MSc, Utrecht University). Lisa’s research focuses on differences and inequalities in health and health behavior.
In 2018, Lisa joined DRIFT as a PhD-candidate and is involved in the Healthy Pregnancy 4 All (HP4All) program. In HP4All, Lisa aims to combine medical expertise with insights from transition studies to support municipalities in improving perinatal health outcomes by implementing integrated maternity care.
