Katharina’s passion revolves around questions on how societal change towards a sustainable and resilient society can be realized and supported through governance. She is engaged in practice-oriented, inter- and transdisciplinary research to understand and support how diverse actors contribute to building the capacities for transition governance, focusing on climate change at multiple levels.
 
Katharina has experience in European and German research projects on transition governance, transition management in cities, (urban) climate governance and transformation research.
