Thomas Siderius PhD Researcher

Thomas is a researcher and project leader 'Local Money Flows' at the Dutch national program 'Samen Nieuw-West' as part of the Community Wealth Building approach. Within this approach there is a heavy focus on circulating money locally and creating a more resilient local economy with plenty of bartering and local ownership. This is done on the one hand by encouraging more structural local purchasing, and on the other hand by better connecting local supply and demand.

Thomas is also a PhD candidate at DRIFT, investigating the transformative potential of local monetary systems.
