Marie-Louise Borsje External PhD

As an external PhD candidate at DRIFT, Marie Louise Borsje (she/her) conducts research into civil service professionalism. This theme has been a recurring thread throughout her career in central government, particularly the 'how' of implementing changes in social issues and transitions. She contributed to the collections “Publieke Pioniers” (Public Pioneers) and “Het recht op ambtelijk vakmanschap” (The Right to Civil Service Professionalism).

Marie Louise works at the National Academy for Government Information Technology and Digitalisation (RADIO | Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations). She enjoys spending time with family and friends, gives guided tours of historic and administrative The Hague, and is a board member of the network of practical political scientists.
