Diederik van der Mast Facilitator Transition Academy

As a facilitator at the Transition Academy of DRIFT, Diederik guides participants in the open and in-company programs through their personal transitions. By integrating head, heart, and hands, it becomes easier to engage more people to help accelerate the transition to a sustainable and just society from their own roles and positions.

Diederik combines a technical background as a maritime officer and technical management expert with "soft" skills like listening, asking questions, and summarizing. He organized in-company programs at the Rotterdam School of Management for 13 years, allowing many participants from small and large organizations to develop as individuals, leaders, and experts. After that, he worked for 10 years as an independent organizational consultant and (team) coach, assisting his partner in building her business.

In addition to his work at DRIFT, Diederik is the founder and chair of the foundation "Rotterdam Natuurlijk!", where he aims to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and just Rotterdam.

Diederik is married, has two daughters, and lives in Rotterdam. He volunteers at Hockey Club Delfshaven and enjoys making electronic music.
