Free trial class Just Sustainability Transitions

03 Mar, 2022

Our Just Sustainability Transitions course provides those that believe that sustainability and social justice are key to fundamental change with the tools and inspiration to create their own transition strategy.

But signing up for a 6-month online training isn’t a small decision. That’s why on 3 March we are giving you the opportunity to get a sneak peek of this course and get to know your potential peers. Your guide for this hour-long free trial class will be course coordinator and transition expert Giorgia Silvestri.

From 4 May tot 26 October 2022 we’re organising the first edition of the online peer-learning course Just Sustainability Transitions. The program draws from our latest action research insights on justice, sustainability transitions and social innovation. It brings you best practices and personal experiences we gathered during our work on transition processes in different settings and countries – in Europe and across the globe.

Energy, food, mobility, finance – just about every global sector is expected to transform dramatically in the coming decades. So isn’t it time you create your own transition strategy? We are now providing you the opportunity to work on this, supported by your peers and DRIFT experts like Giorgia Silverstri, Nena Bode, Katharina Hölscher, Neha Mungekar, Sophie Buchel, Aniek Hebinck, Timo von Wirth and Marleen Lodder.

Are you on the fence whether you want to sign up for the course, or just curious about the topic or the vibe at our DRIFT Transition Academy, please join our free trial class! It’s 3 March 2022  12:00-13:00 CET / 14:00-15:00 GMT+3 / 16:30-17:30 IST.

Hear from and talk to course coordinator and transition expert Giorgia Silvestri, who will introduce transitions to just and sustainable societies and give you an overview of the course itself. And get a good impression of what our sessions are like and who your peers might be.
