Movie Night on #SustainableJustCities: Reloaded

We are excited to invite you to the sequel of our “Movie Night on #SustainableJustCities”. You got to vote which movie we’re watching and the results are in: we will be watching “Tomorrow” (and are recommending “This Changes Everything” for another time)! Join us on December 1st; you can sign up here.
The “Movie Night on #SustainableJustCities” is an online series organized as part of the Vital Cities & Citizens (VCC) initiative of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, in collaboration with UrbanA and DRIFT. This event will follow a similar format as the first movie night – starting with an introduction on sustainable and just cities, then documentary screening, followed by an interactive World Café (see the first movie night blog here and event report here).

About “Tomorrow”
The documentary “Tomorrow” takes a different approach to discussing sustainability by showing stories of creative solutions by communities that creates a sustainable and just way of life. It has a very positive and affirming outlook and discusses five themes – agriculture, energy, economy, democracy and education. The documentary shows a journey of its co-producers/co-directors through permaculture farms, urban agriculture projects, community-owned renewable projects, local currencies, creative schools, ambitious recycling projects, etc.

18:00-20:00 Watching Documentary (1.5-2 hour movie + 15-30 min break)

The event is online at Zoom and we will watch the movie using a unique link and password shared during the event. People who have already watched these documentaries are also welcome to join the introduction and World Café.
